Team Major Concerns:
1. With “love” as the core, focus on cultivating students’ care and sense of responsibility towards people, the environment, and the community. Through progressive and diverse activities, gradually establish correct civic values among junior secondary students.
2. With “broadening horizons” as the goal, further enable students to understand the world, develop critical thinking, and become good citizens with empathy and a global perspective.
3. Implement the 4Cs program.

Teachers’ Week

The school holds an annual “Teachers’ Week” every September. This year, our team, in collaboration with the Student Union, organized a series of events, including setting up ‘”Thank You Teachers” board, a “Teachers Week Dedication Activity”, and a Teachers’ assembly. Students responded enthusiastically, taking the initiative to express their sincere care and gratitude towards teachers in various forms.

To foster the character trait of “loving those around us” among Secondary 3 students, they specifically prepared appreciation gifts and special programs for the assembly: Singing performances, cookie-making, and making greeting cards, etc.

“Inclusive Friendship” Community Carnival for Healthy Minds

Five Secondary 5 students volunteered at the “Inclusive Friendship” Community Carnival for Healthy Minds, organized by the Methodist Centre. They were responsible for booth activities, spreading the message of “Child Protection” within the community. The volunteer students demonstrated active engagement and dedication, receiving recognition and praise from local residents.

Tai Kwun Field Study Activity

In early October, our team, together with Secondary 5 Citizenship and Social Development teachers, led students on a field study to “Tai Kwun” in Central. The activity included visits to the former Central Police Station compound, the Former Central Magistracy, and Victoria Prison. It allowed students to learn about Hong Kong’s early judicial and penal systems through its historical buildings and artifacts, and to deeply reflect on issues related to heritage conservation and architectural revitalization.

Fundraising Campaign for Wang Fuk Court Fire Victims

In response to the spirit of community care and to foster empathy and social responsibility among students, our group has initiated the “Fundraising Campaign for Wang Fuk Court Fire Victims ” to support affected residents. Teachers from the Moral and Civic Education Committee, along with student representatives, visited each classroom during the Class Teacher Period on Friday, December 5, 2025, to collect donations.

S1 Plastic Bottle Recycling Campaign

To promote environmental awareness and foster a green culture within the school, the Moral and Civic Education Committee and the Environmental Education Committee are jointly organized the “S1 Plastic Bottle Recycling Campaign.” The initiative aims to help Secondary 1 students develop the habit of recycling plastic bottles.

“Plastic Bottle Recycling Boxes” have been placed in every Secondary 1 classroom. Students are encouraged to bring their used plastic bottles to the recycling station in school regularly. Through this activity, students will learn the correct steps for recycling plastic bottles and develop eco-friendly habits.
