Concerns

1. To foster positive values, showcase varied talents and achieve a healthy and positive life through diverse learning experiences and environments.

2. To assist students in facing and overcoming difficulties and challenges during their growth through non-formal curricula and activities.

3. To establish a culture of care, expand the support network for students, and enhance their sense of belonging on campus

 

Routine works

1. Continuously cultivate the “caring” character of our students.

2. Continuously pay attention to and support the needs of newly arrived students, transfer students, and those repeating a grade.

3. Focus on and support students’ emotional and mental health.

4. Plan diverse activities to unleash students’ potential and cultivate their common skills (such as class management and various counseling activities).

5. Implement the 4Cs program for non-Chinese speaking students, aiming to facilitate their integration into the Hong Kong community.

 

Mind-calming Room

  • The school has renovated the janitors’ dormitory into the “Mind-calming Room”, creating an area to provide psychological support for students in need, helping them cope with stress and emotional difficulties. At the same time, our team uses the room to hold group activities, encouraging students to support one another, build good relationships, and promote a friendly atmosphere on campus.

 

OLE Failure Education

  • To help students face growth challenges in academics, family, and interpersonal relationships, our team has designed four “Failure Education” lessons specifically for S.4 students in the OLE curriculum. These lessons use adventurous and experiential activities to equip students with skills to cope with failure and improve their resilience.

Caring Ambassador

  • Our team has a Caring Ambassador team that receives training in emotional management and basic counseling skills, enabling students to assist teachers in supporting their peers’ emotional health and establishing a support network on campus.

 

Class-building

  • Our team cultivates positive values in students through class teacher sessions and various class-building activities, providing support among peers to enhance students’ sense of belonging in campus life.
