Integrated Education Commitee

Concerns

Annual Committee Concerns:

  1. Responding to the school’s concerns: To cultivate students’ positive values, showcase their diverse talents, and empower them to lead healthy and proactive lives through a diverse range of learning experiences and a vibrant campus atmosphere.
  2. To arrange appropriate support measures for students with Special Educational Needs, systematically addressing their learning and holistic development.
  3. To enhance appropriate support for Non-Chinese Speaking students with special educational needs.
  4. To promote an inclusive campus, allowing various stakeholders in the school to learn to recognize, respect, and accept that others have different needs.

Summer Transition Group

The group primarily assists students in adapting to secondary school life and building social networks. On one hand, students learn skills such as cooperation, problem-solving, and time management through various activities; on the other hand, they explore different locations on campus together, adapting to the school environment ahead of others and spending the summer transition period in a collaborative way!

Inclusive week activity

The Integration Week promotes an inclusive campus environment by organizing a quiz competition for all students and displaying posters featuring stories of celebrities with special educational needs in classrooms and school staircases. This initiative encourages students to recognize, respect, and accept the diverse needs of others. Additionally, lunchtime booth games are held to foster understanding, inclusion, and acceptance of individuals with different needs both on campus and in society, thereby enhancing a caring and inclusive atmosphere in the school.

Social Groups and Peer Activities

Students systematically learn various social strategies to enhance their communication, collaboration, and empathy skills. Through diverse peer activities, they practice cooperating harmoniously with classmates, building positive relationships, boosting self-confidence, and fostering an inclusive social environment within the school community.

Executive Function Football Group

The Executive Function Football Group aims to enhance students’ physical fitness, concentration, coordination, and social skills. Through football activities, students develop confidence, teamwork, and resilience in the face of setbacks, allowing them to enjoy the sport in an inclusive environment.
