珍惜食物|迪士尼伙膳心连办义工活动 教中学生将剩食变打卡美食(晴报)
剩食是全球粮食危机问题之一,本月初香港迪士尼的厨师团队及迪士尼义工队,便与膳心连基金首度在中华基督教会桂华山中学举行义工活动,教授10多名学生将剩食材料,如萝卜、蕃茄、蔬菜等,烹调成为美味又健康的菜肴,更加堆砌成米奇老鼠造型,打卡一流。 膳心连基金营运总监翁懿华表示,本港每日有3,600公吨食物被弃置在堆填区,其中只有1%被回收。香港迪士尼乐园度假区(酒店)行政总厨麦锦驹直言,只要适当地处理食材,每个人都可以成为大厨,将剩食变成美食,减少资源浪费。 中华基督教会桂华山中学校长黄仲良认为,活动富教育意义,教导学生从烹饪中珍惜食物,并善用食材的每个部分,为环保出一分力。 本身来自商品部的迪士尼义工领袖委员会副主席区蕙淳,加入迪士尼义工队已7年,多年来一直善用工余时间参与义工活动,帮助弱势社群。她坦言,每次将饭盒派给公公婆婆们,看见他们接过暖暖饭盒的笑容,“感觉到我们的小小心意,对他们的生活来说却有莫大帮助”。 2014年起收集餐厅安全剩食 分派有需要人士 香港迪士尼自2014年起,一直与社福机构膳心连基金合作,从度假区酒店的餐厅收集安全剩食,分派给有需要人士,包括老人院、基层家庭及儿童。 而去年6月,香港迪士尼推出全新“迪士尼快闪膳心行”饭盒捐赠计划,度假区的厨师团队及迪士尼义工队一同合作,每星期为膳心连准备500个由剩食烹调而成的饭盒,再捐赠予社会上有需要的家庭,过去7年共收集超过100公吨食物,为本地家庭提供260,800个餐盒。 撰文︰谢雅宝 责任编辑︰梁显庭 https://skypost.ulifestyle.com.hk/article/3321783/珍惜食物|迪士尼伙膳心连办义工活动%E3%80%80教中学生将剩食变打卡美食(附多相)
