[Activity] Flag raising ceremony 4th May

On 4th May, 2018, the school has led all Secondary One students to attend the ‘May Fourth Movement Flag Raising Ceremony’ held at the Golden Bauhinia Square. Before the event, our teacher explained in advance the meaning and significance of the May Fourth Movement to the participating students, so that students can first have a general understanding of the Movement. On the day of the ceremony, teachers and students gathered early in the morning at school, they were energetic and they took a coach to the Golden Bauhinia Square. Throughout the whole flag raising ceremony, all participating students and teachers showed respectful attitude, stood upright and properly, faced the national flag and sang the national anthem together. During the process, students can experience firsthand the solemnity of the flag raising ceremony and learn from it the courtesy and attitude that should be taken when raising a flag, which was really a valuable experience.
