剩食是全球糧食危機問題之一,本月初香港迪士尼的廚師團隊及迪士尼義工隊,便與膳心連基金首度在中華基督教會桂華山中學舉行義工活動,教授10多名學生將剩食材料,如蘿蔔、蕃茄、蔬菜等,烹調成為美味又健康的菜餚,更加堆砌成米奇老鼠造型,打卡一流。 膳心連基金營運總監翁懿華表示,本港每日有3,600公噸食物被棄置在堆填區,其中只有1%被回收。香港迪士尼樂園度假區(酒店)行政總廚麥錦駒直言,只要適當地處理食材,每個人都可以成為大廚,將剩食變成美食,減少資源浪費。 中華基督教會桂華山中學校長黃仲良認為,活動富教育意義,教導學生從烹飪中珍惜食物,並善用食材的每個部分,為環保出一分力。 本身來自商品部的迪士尼義工領袖委員會副主席區蕙淳,加入迪士尼義工隊已7年,多年來一直善用工餘時間參與義工活動,幫助弱勢社群。她坦言,每次將飯盒派給公公婆婆們,看見他們接過暖暖飯盒的笑容,「感覺到我們的小小心意,對他們的生活來説卻有莫大幫助」。 2014年起收集餐廳安全剩食 分派有需要人士 香港迪士尼自2014年起,一直與社福機構膳心連基金合作,從度假區酒店的餐廳收集安全剩食,分派給有需要人士,包括老人院、基層家庭及兒童。 而去年6月,香港迪士尼推出全新「迪士尼快閃膳心行」飯盒捐贈計劃,度假區的廚師團隊及迪士尼義工隊一同合作,每星期為膳心連準備500個由剩食烹調而成的飯盒,再捐贈予社會上有需要的家庭,過去7年共收集超過100公噸食物,為本地家庭提供260,800個餐盒。 撰文︰謝雅寶 責任編輯︰梁顯庭 https://skypost.ulifestyle.com.hk/article/3321783/珍惜食物|迪士尼夥膳心連辦義工活動%E3%80%80教中學生將剩食變打卡美食(附多相)
